Blogmas Day 1 | So what on earth is it anyway?

This was the thought that went through my mind when I opened up Bloglovin' yesterday. There were a slew of posts about it, and it seemed to be one more fun thing that I wanted to participate in! The thing I couldn't work out: was it invite only? Did I need to sign up somewhere? Were there any rules?

Given that I missed posting on the first of December, I almost totally wrote it off as a not-happening thing -- which seemed a shame, especially as I know I have loads to write and taking part in this event would hopefully be the poke in the butt I need to get it out.

So I did what I do whenever I have anything that I believe is worthy of the internet (aka most random thoughts), and put it to Twitter:

Lo and behold, the ever-sweet Charlotte from Vanity Fairest assuaged my fears with common sense and told me that I wasn't too late!

So, Blogmas is an undertaking that crazy ambitious bloggers do yearly to post for every day in December until Christmas Eve. With a bit of poking around myself, I've found out that there are others who are blogging daily right up until the end of the year! I don't know if I could continue on for that long, so I wish them luck!
